Our lives present numerous crossroads.

Sometimes, for a multitude of reasons, we get stuck at these junctures. We often compensate by reverting to older, familiar patterns of coping, that may have been effective in the past, but doesn't address the complexity of the problems you face today.

I want to help you get unstuck. I see my role in psychotherapy as one in which I collaborate respectfully and sensitively with you in a process of self-examination.  We will work toward developing a mutual understanding of the choices you have made in your life - as well as the conscious and sometimes unconscious, reasons for your decisions. It has been my experience, that through a steady, sometimes challenging process of self- reflection, we can develop a new voice that challenges our self doubts and liberates us from the binds that have been hindering our growth.
